IMPACT
Nervous-system-informed support for individual and collective well-being through embodied, trauma-aware practices
This work is delivered through IJIDIDE Holistic Healing, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to nervous-system-informed, trauma-aware mental and emotional support through embodied, body-based approaches..
The organization exists to respond to the growing impact of chronic stress, trauma, and emotional overwhelm by supporting regulation, resilience, and reconnection — both individually and collectively.
The Need
Many individuals and communities live under sustained stress due to caregiving demands, workplace pressures, life transitions, and systemic challenges.
Common impacts include:
-
chronic stress and burnout
-
emotional dysregulation or shutdown
-
difficulty feeling safe, grounded, or connected
-
limited access to trauma-informed, body-based support
Traditional mental health approaches may not always address the nervous system directly, which can leave gaps in care for those whose bodies remain activated or disconnected.
This work responds to that gap.
Our Approach
The organization’s work is grounded in:
-
nervous system regulation
-
trauma-informed and body-based practices
-
consent-based, paced facilitation
-
embodied awareness and integration through somatic experience
The focus is on safety, regulation, and capacity — not force, urgency, or retraumatization.
Programs are designed to be adaptable and are offered through flexible delivery models, including community partnerships, organizational programming, and facilitated group experiences.
